Kopaonik is the most famous and the largest ski center in Serbia with 22 ski-lifts. They are all connected in an integrated system, which frees the skiers from having to travel to and from ski-slopes.

The slopes are at an altitude of 1650 m to 2017 m above sea-level. They are safe and well-maintained, and are in the highest category. The total length of ski-slopes is 44 kilometres, and the lifts cover more than 17 kilometres in length.

The ski-lifts are of various capacities, and can transport up to 13 500 skiers per hour. There are also 20 km of cross-country skiing trails. Snowboarding and nightskiing are popular with the younger crowd.

At a lower altitude, in Brzece, there is a skiing complex for children and students.
